3rd generation of my lamp design. Its looking like each unit will cost around $35 on ponoko but if I were to produce them in house I could sell them at a flat cost of $25 each.
This is the second gen design of my compression lamp concept. The lamp is roughly 12” tall and 8” at it’s widest. It’s made from 2ply chip board and a woven laminate. It’s powered by a standard Hemma pendant socket. It’s a flat pack design so it could be shipped in a pretty slim container. The price is somewhere in the $35-45 dollar range due to materials and time spent laser cutting the parts, but for the DIYer it’s a fun build and a great addition to any home.
iPhone 4 mobile thermal receipt printer. This is a concept I created using solid edge and bunkspeed shot rendering software. The iPhone plugs into the printer and the card reader plugs into the audio port. You now have a mobile credit transaction station for anything from conventions to trade shows.
